Souvy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Overview
Souvy helps people discover music that fits their taste and current moment. This policy explains what information the app may collect, how it is used, and the choices users have.
Information We Collect
Souvy may collect account information such as a name, email address, and profile details when a user signs in. The app may also store music preferences, Signal Check answers, Music Color selections, song likes and dislikes, and imported Source history when a user chooses to provide it.
Music Services and Manual Uploads
Users can optionally add supported music apps to the Taste Vault or manually upload listening history. Souvy uses this information to improve music discovery, generate recommendations, and help users understand their Soundprint. Users can use the core app experience without connecting every service.
Local Learning
Souvy is designed to learn from likes, dislikes, quick feedback, and Music Color settings on the device first where possible. Some features may sync selected information to Souvy services when a user signs in, connects music apps, or uses cloud-backed features.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide the app, personalize recommendations, improve discovery quality, maintain accounts, respond to support requests, analyze app performance, and protect against misuse.
Sharing
Souvy does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, database, and music integration providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and integrity of the service.
User Choices
Users can choose whether to import music history, upload listening notes, take Mind Checks, or share discovery lists. Users can delete their account directly in the iOS app from You → Account → Delete account. This deletes the Souvy account and associated account, Mind Check, Taste Vault, and reaction data.
Security
Souvy uses standard security practices, including HTTPS/TLS for network communication. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect user information with reasonable safeguards.
Children
Souvy is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above.
