Welcome to Souvy
Sign in to access your music identity and daily discovery.
Go to Connect platforms and click "Connect Spotify". You'll authorize via Spotify's OAuth. We request read access to your history and write access to create playlists. Revoke anytime from your Spotify account settings.
What data does Souvy read from Spotify?
We read your top tracks, top artists, recently played songs, and saved library. We never read private messages, payment information, or account credentials. All data is used exclusively to build your taste profile and generate discovery recommendations — and is stored securely in our database.
How does the taste quiz work?
The quiz asks 8 psychology-based questions about how you experience music. Your answers assign you one of 7 identity archetypes, which seeds your discovery profile. It works before you connect a streaming platform.
Discovery & recommendations
When does my daily queue refresh?
Your 15-track queue refreshes every day at 8:00 AM in your local timezone. Previous queues are archived in your dashboard history. The rotation engine also runs at 2PM and 8PM for refinements.
Why does Souvy explain each recommendation?
Music discovery should feel intentional. Each track includes a short explanation based on your taste signals — tempo, energy, obscurity level, genre overlap — so you can decide before you play.
How do I save a track to Spotify?
Click the bookmark icon next to any track in your queue. It'll be added to your "Souvy Daily" Spotify playlist. You can also push your entire queue at once using "Push all to Spotify playlist" at the bottom of your dashboard.
Privacy & data
Does Souvy sell my data?
Never. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your listening data is used exclusively to power your taste profile and discovery recommendations.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Settings and click "Delete account". All your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Platform connections are automatically revoked.

Data we collect
When you connect a streaming platform we access: listening history, top tracks, top artists, saved library, and play/skip signals where available. We also collect your email address and usage analytics.
How we use your data

Improve recommendation models in aggregate, anonymized form

Sell your personal data to third parties

Data storage
Your data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security policies. Only you can access your own profile and listening data.
Data retention
Retained while your account is active. Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

Access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@souvy.fm or use the delete option in your dashboard settings.

Souvy is a music identity and AI discovery platform. We connect to streaming platforms to analyze your taste and deliver personalized recommendations. We are not a streaming service and do not host music content.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account security. Notify us of unauthorized access immediately.
3. Acceptable use
No illegal use
No reverse engineering or scraping
No credential sharing
No automated access tools
4. Intellectual property
Souvy's software, design, and branding are our property. Your taste data remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process it for the service.
5. Third-party platforms
We connect to Spotify, Apple Music, and others. Your use is governed by their terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify or Apple.
6. Limitation of liability
Souvy is provided "as is". Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the past 12 months.
