SOUVY is an iPhone music discovery app with a visual listening preview on the web. The starting points above open the real pad with a direction already selected. They don’t start audio automatically. Adjust the dot, then press Play this mood when you’re ready.
What the visual controls do
- Feeling: move between Reflective and Joyful, and between Light and Deep. Try a small movement first.
- Motion: move between Slow and Fast, and Gentle and Intense. Use it when the pace or weight of the next suggestions needs a different direction.
- Discovery: choose a balance between Familiar and Unexpected. Move toward Unexpected when you want to explore beyond familiar artists.
These controls select exploratory catalog directions. They are not measurements of each recording’s emotion, BPM, or effect on you. Mood is personal: your response is the useful signal.
Listen, then adjust
Hear one preview before changing everything. If the next song is close but the feeling is too heavy, move Feeling toward Light. If you want a stronger pace, try Motion. Adjustments shape upcoming suggestions while the current preview keeps playing.
Like a song that fits, or skip one that doesn’t. SOUVY uses your choices, catalog genre information, and the direction you select to rank suggestions. You can also search for an artist or song if you want a more specific starting point.
